The Grief Recovery Method ™ was created by John W. James after the loss of his first son only days after his birth. Determined not to carry his pain with him for life, John searched tirelessly but was unable to find a  recovery solution. John understood that feelings caused by grief are natural, that each person’s grief is individual, and that recovery is not about letting go or forgetting but taking measurable action to complete our loss. Healing occurs when we can rework our limiting beliefs about loss and recovery, change unhelpful coping patterns or habits, and take concrete action to complete all of our past losses.
